Maha Skin Therapy is an all-natural, organic and cruelty-free beauty line influenced by healing ingredients commonly found in the Caribbean. Our goal is to provide high quality ingredients without the hefty price tag because we believe skincare should be affordable, accessible, luxurious, and reliable.

Founded by professional film/TV makeup artist Priya Maharaj, MAHA Skin Therapy was inspired by her Caribbean upbringing and her passion for holistic healing. Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, Priya loves working with local ingredients (Turmeric, Bitter Melon, Papaya, Mangoes, Sorrel, and Moringa) to benefit sensitive skin types.

From the Founder

“My intention for MAHA Skin Therapy is to help my clients look and feel good in their skin.

When I became a makeup artist in 2003, I started to see dramatic skin changes based on the products I used on my clients and I loved helping them overhaul their routines with my recommendations.

My sister Chandra (in particular) has very sensitive skin and a serious case of Ichthyosis and eczema. She’s allergic to a lot of the binders and emulsifiers that are used in skin care products today, and due to her skin imbalances, she inspired me to study natural ingredients, botanical plants, essential oils and the positive benefits they have on our skin.

After lots of research, I became a certified holistic healer, and along with studies in advance cosmetic formulation, I started to realize the connection between botanicals, fruits, and flora. I even compiled a list of synthetic ingredients that have really negative effects on skin (ex: making her skin very dry, peeled, irritated and inflamed) and refuse to use them in my products. Now I can offer you cruelty free, organic, all-natural products without any hesitation!”
